Sample Project Idea-Tea Towel with Ric Rac

We took two different colors of our wide jumbo (about 1 3/8 inch) rick rack and "braided" them together and then sewed them to one of our black tea towels about 2 inches up from the hem. We used the bright yellow and orange, but we have many colors for sale on our website. Many customers are also using our tea towels to make aprons and using the rick rack along the bottom hem and also as an accent on the pocket or along the neckline. The wide ric rac also looks great on the pillowcase dresses for little girls. You will need 1 1/4 yards to trim a pair of tea towels, sold elsewhere on our website.
